Friday, October 18, 2024

📢 Today, October 18, 2024, I had the pleasure of delivering a webinar on the topic: “Grant Management in Higher Education: Preparing Project Proposals” for Post-Graduate Students from Sumy State Pedagogical University named after A. S. Makarenko and the Institute of Pedagogical and Adult Education named after Ivan Zyazyun, National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine, via Zoom. 🎓💻

The webinar was hosted by the ARCTIS Center at the University of Economics and Human Sciences in Warsaw (Poland). The session was expertly moderated by Prof. Olena Semenog (Sumy State Pedagogical University) and Prof. Myroslava Vovk (Institute of Pedagogical and Adult Education named after Ivan Zyazyun, NAES of Ukraine). 🌍✨

During the session, we covered the following key topics:
1. How to align project proposals with EU funding priorities: Understanding what funding bodies are looking for. 🎯💼
2. The importance of clear objectives and measurable outcomes: How to define and structure project goals. 📊📋
3. Crafting a compelling narrative: How to present your project in a way that stands out and meets evaluation criteria. 📝✨
4. Budgeting for success: Practical tips for creating realistic budgets that meet the funder’s expectations. 💰💡
5. Effective project dissemination strategies: Ensuring the visibility and impact of your project outcomes. 🌍📢

We also had the opportunity to review the ESPERIDTA project – European Studies for Supporting Polish Education and Research in Digital Transformation: Interdisciplinary Approach (Grant Agreement 101172710 — ESPERIDTA — ERASMUS-JMO-2024-HEI-TCH-RSCH), and explored the journey from proposal submission to implementation. 🚀📚

I want to express my sincere thanks to Olena Semenog and Myroslava Vovk for the opportunity to share my personal experience in grant management and project proposal development.
